Premiering at the Venice Film Festival in September 2010, ‘Road to Nowhere’ is the latest feature from Monte Hellman, a multi-talented film-maker with an illustrious career which includes producing Tarrentino’s acclaimed and influential ‘Reservoir Dogs’. Hellman was awarded a Special Lion at the festival for his lifelong contribution to cinema.
An exciting and thought proving romantic thriller, the films follows a young filmmaker who gets wrapped up in a crime while shooting his new project on location. The project stars Shannyn Sossamon (A Knights Tale, 40 Days and 40 Nights) and Dominique Swain (Face/Off, Lolita). Back Door client, writer Steven Gaydos, reunited with Monte Hellman for this feature, having previously worked together on ‘Better Watch Out’.
