We’ll always have Dingle

We’ll Always Have Dingle” is a docudramedy, using RED technology and cinema verite HD to tell the story of Dingle, (birthplace of Gregory Peck, location for David Lean’s “Ryan’s Daughter”) and Maurice Galway, the gutsy festival organizer who gave up everything to start a young Sundance-like film festival.

Geoff Wonfor is an internationally acclaimed director who has specialized in music programming, concert events, documentaries and videos. His skills have ranged across the full spectrum of music from classical concerts through the great stars of popular music to the cutting edge of new and experimental bands.
He has a reputation for inventing new stylistic approaches, and his work on the legendary rock series, ‘The Tube’ is acknowledged to have invented the hand-held dynamically cut style which has influenced a whole generation of music directors and editors on both sides of the Atlantic. His direction of the ‘Eurythmics – Revenge Tour’ – live in Sydney remains a landmark in the coverage of live concerts and was applauded by London’s ‘Time Out’ magazine as the greatest live concert of the decade.

He is also known for his ability to put artist’s at ease and to invent the methods of working and interpretation most appropriate to their personal style and talents. Having worked with all three Beatles individually, they unanimously agreed that Geoff Wonfor’s talent was the only option to put together the acclaimed ‘Beatles Anthology’ for video and Network Television all over the world.

While based in England, Geoff Wonfor has produced extensively in the USA and is at ease with studio and location shoots worldwide.
